Who we are?
We are a large Christian family, where we all love dogs, especially Frenchies.
Our love for Frenchies began 15 years ago when Miguel, my eldest son, asked Baby Jesus for a puppy. That gift arrived at Christmas, named Plaquita, and it changed all of our lives. Plaquita filled a space in our home that we didn’t know existed; we discovered that we needed a puppy in our lives. She was so loving that she managed to awaken in us this passion for Frenchies. In her, we discovered that within her loving personality, there was something more, a different kind of love, where we could see details of affection, care, and family identity. We perceived and deduced that these traits could come from her parents or from special education before coming to our home.
Our philosophy
At Unique Frenchies, we have dedicated ourselves to studying the breed genetically to achieve beautiful dogs with ideal structures, excellent health, and special personalities. This ensures that when our puppies find a new family, they will be the perfect companion and, above all, will adapt perfectly to each family’s style, whether they are families with children, families with children and other pets, young couples, senior couples, single adults… Our Frenchie puppies will always be the best company for everyone, filling their home with love and joy.
At Unique Frenchies, we are passionate and meticulous in all the processes involved, from selecting the parents for the new generation to selecting the homes where our puppies will live. We are demanding in obtaining healthy puppies with the best genetic structure, exotic colors, veterinary visits, vaccines, and proper nutrition for their optimal development at an early age. A differentiating and determining factor at Unique Frenchies are our commitment to shaping the personality and intelligence of our puppies. This is achieved both genetically and through the upbringing process during the first few weeks they spend in our home.
About Frenchie’s
French Bulldogs, often affectionately referred to as “Frenchies,” are a small breed of domestic dog known for their distinctive bat-like ears and muscular build. They are descended from the English Bulldog but were selectively bred in France in the 1800s to create a smaller companion dog. French Bulldogs typically have a friendly and affectionate temperament, making them popular pets and companions.
These dogs have a short, smooth coat that comes in a variety of colors, including brindle, fawn, white, and combinations of these. While they are relatively low-energy dogs compared to some other breeds, French Bulldogs still enjoy regular walks and playtime. Due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) skull shape, they may be prone to certain health issues, including respiratory problems and overheating, so it’s important for owners to take special care of them, especially in hot weather.
French Bulldogs are known for their expressive faces and clown-like personalities, which endear them to many people. They thrive on human companionship and often form strong bonds with their owners. Overall, they are a beloved breed cherished by many for their unique appearance and charming personalities.
